About Pulse
Coming soon to the App Store. Pulse helps you stay consistent without a cluttered interface. Swipe left for your timeline—journal entries and daily activity. Stay centered on the Pulse ring to speak or type with a live waveform. Swipe right for your habits dashboard with custom colors, icons, completion heatmaps, and one-tap check-offs. Free tier includes core journaling, today’s timeline, and one habit; Pulse Pro adds unlimited habits, full timeline browsing, map and export, and interactive Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.

Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
- Journal entries: Text you type, voice recordings you capture for journaling, and transcriptions produced from speech recognition when you use voice journaling.
- Habit data: Habit names, icons, colors, daily completions, streaks, and related dashboard and timeline information.
- Optional location: Place information you choose to attach to a journal entry (not collected unless you add it).
- User Preferences: Theme accent, haptics, timeline behavior, and other settings you configure in the App.
- Feedback: Any feedback or support requests you submit to us.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, app version, and device identifiers for functionality purposes.
- Usage Data: How you interact with the App, including features used and frequency of use (stored locally only).
- Performance Data: App performance metrics and crash reports to improve functionality (anonymized).
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or other personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it for support purposes.
- Background location: We do not track your location in the background. Location is used only when you choose to attach a place to a specific journal entry.
- Contact Information: We do not access your contacts or address book.
- Biometric Data: We do not collect fingerprint or face ID data.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Habit tracking: Display your habits dashboard, record daily check-offs, and show completion heatmaps and streaks.
- Journaling: Capture text and voice journal entries, show your timeline, and transcribe speech when you use the microphone for voice journaling.
- Timeline & export: Organize entries by day, support calendar browsing, and provide map and export features where available in your plan.
- Widgets & personalization: Power Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets and apply your chosen accent colors, haptics, and display preferences.
- iCloud sync: Keep habits and journal data consistent across your devices when you enable sync with your Apple ID.
- Improve Our Services: Enhance app performance and develop new features based on anonymized usage patterns.
- Provide Support: Respond to your inquiries and provide technical support.
- Comply with Legal Requirements: Meet applicable laws and regulations.

Local Storage
- All app data is stored locally on your device using iOS's secure file system.
- No personal data is uploaded to our servers or any cloud services.

- You can clear all app data by deleting and reinstalling the App.

- Deleting the App removes all your data.
- You can delete individual data through the App's interface.
